What we do

We support young
women to reach
their full potential!

Project Mana Leadership Programs, aimed at students in grades 7th through 12th, encourage self-esteem, cultural pride, development of their individual voices and the importance of staying in school and going on to higher learning institutions.

We deliver programs for Latina women

Mujer continues to work on delivering the concept of “sisterhood” upon which our organization bases its core values by presenting a series of personal and professional development workshops through our Mujer, Inc. Institute.
These programs are presented by Latina subject matter experts. The Mujer Institute is the “adult” component of the Project Mana Program.

We Consult

Project Mana program curriculums are developed by an accredited social worker with more than 25 years experience as a therapist, trainer, program administrator,  consultant/developer and community change agent.

We Create School Programs

In developing our school partnerships, we also consult with individual school administrators to create and present the most effective program for their students.

We Strengthen

We believe that education, and empowerment gives young woman the inner strength to lead a better life for themselves and their communities.

What we care about...

Developing self-esteem and empowering young women

Developing self-esteem and empowering young women with concepts that will give them the tools for making healthy and positive choices is the basis of our leadership program curriculum “The Power of You!”

Mujer, Inc. strives to instill positive motivations that young women can use to assist them in identifying their own concepts about their true and authentic “self” as they begin their path to high school, higher education and adulthood.

Creating environments where they come as strangers and they leave as friends…

Each year we have offered a culturally competent curriculum to make the Project Mana experience personally rewarding for each participant. During the course of their time together our students have consistently shown that their hands-on participation in our process has resulted in bonding that builds connections that continue long after their Project Mana experience.

With the number of Hispanic students represented in schools, we know that the Project Mana curriculum will remain relevant for years to come. To that end, we have been diligently developing partnerships that share our core values and recognize that Project Mana can be utilized to increase their student’s performance, and we look forward to having your students gain from this experience.
